Welcome to the terms and conditions of use for the CM Scientific Ltd. on-line shop website. These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Prices and Payment

All prices are in £ sterling and exclude UK VAT at the appropriate rate. Euro prices are for guidance only based on today's exchange rate, all card payments will be in £ sterling. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted, details of delivery charges are given below. We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards. Our prices are reviewed periodically.

Delivery

Deliveries within the UK are by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery or via a courier services when appropriate. Small Deliveries outside the UK are by Royal Mail Airsure, a tracked and signed for service. Royal Mail Airsure is not available to some countries, where this is the case delivery is by Royal Mail International Recorded Delivery. For larger and/or heavier parcels delivery will be via courier. Due the fragile nature and weight of the products that we supply additional shipping charges may apply. CM Scientific will confirm any additional shipping charges prior to the dispatch of any order.

We cannot guarantee delivery times but we aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 working days. Delivery within the UK is usually 1-2 days from dispatch and international delivery is usually within 3-5 working days from dispatch.

Please note: Orders for Upchurch Scientific(R) and cuvette products may take between 1-2 weeks to fulfil.

Delivery Costs

Postage and packing cost for deliveries to the UK are £4.95 per order. For small parcels, delivery to non-UK addresses is charged at a rate of £7.50 plus VAT at the appropriate UK rate. Due the fragile nature and weight of the products that we supply additional shipping charges may apply. CM Scientific will confirm any additional shipping charges prior to the dispatch of any order.

Purchasing

All items offered on our website are subject to availability. To purchase any of the items on our Web Site, click the "Add to Basket" button shown on each product page. When you place an order to purchase a product by clicking the button "Order Now", we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we dispatched the product to you. We may refuse to accept an order: a) where goods are not available; b) where we cannot obtain authorisation for your payment; c) if there has been a pricing or product description error; or d) if you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions. The contract will be filed. For safety reasons your order’s data are not accessible via internet. We keep these data in confidence according to our privacy policy.

Accuracy of Information

Our website includes descriptions of products and services sourced from third party suppliers. Whilst CM Scientific Ltd. tries to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions and prices, we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case and CM Scientific disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the material on this website. CM Scientific Ltd. shall not be liable for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained on this website or from any inadequacy of this website to meet your requirements. Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available.

Returns

If for any reason the items that you receive are damaged or are not the items that you ordered please inform CM Scientific Ltd. immediately by email. We will contact you to resolve the situation as soon as we can.
